Koala Bear

I've added a new little guy - a 9" bear in an incredibly long tipped mohair that looks somewhat like a koala - so i named him 'Gula' (means Koala in Aboriginal). Check out his pic on the photo album page.

I have just placed a pic of my latest 'limited edition' bears on the photo albums page. these two a little 10" blonde mohair bears in a very luxuruious schultz mohair - just incredible to touch. i have named them after a beach in keeping with the tradition of my last limited edition in this pattern (they were named Bondi!).

I've just added a picture of little 'Parker' - a cute little guy in a lovely brown tipped mohair. Very sweet. He was finished today (australia day) - while we relaxed at home in the cool!

I have just added my latest bear 'Claire' the the photo album. She is a very sweet little lady in a peachy thick mohair with trims of purple and pink. Just so girly!

I've just added two new bears to the photo album. Ruana and Shiva. these two are so different - but they each have their own appeal. Shiva is made from one of the most beautiful mohair fabrics i've had the pleasure of working with (a long purple with black tips wavy fur). While Ruana is probably one of the more unusual bears i've made in a while - with butterflies on her feet and a tassel collar around her neck! Check them out on the photo albums page.

Well - after quite a hectic couple of months i figured i should probably give this site a bit of an update! In October (22nd to be exact) i married my gorgeous husband Mark Nicholson. We had a bizare honeymoon in the rainforest at Springbrook (Gold Coast hinterland). the drive up and down that mountain was so crazy! in some places the road was so narrow only one car could fit at a time and the mountain kind of fell away from the side of the road with a sheer drop! It was a nice break nonetheless. Then we had the christmas and new year chaos...which is fun at the time but i know i ate way too much! Christmas day turns into Christmas month! and the waist line doesn't take too kindly to that at all! So now that things have calmed down a bit i thought i'd add a few of my new bears to the photo album, and maybe a few new photos for the main page too. I thought i'd add my latest three bears to be added to my collection. one is a sealy bear i picked up from the local chemist - she just has a gorgeous face. another is a little floppy brown mohair bear from an artst on ebay. and the last (and my favourite purchase) is a 'fur real' bear cub i got at toy world today - he is just so cute and life-like. He is battery opperated and pretends to drink and eat and growls and play games and cuddle. the photo doesn't do him justice either - a very cool little toy indeed~ (oh - and for the latest emma's bears, visit bearpile.com )

I've finally had a bit of time to update this site. i've taken off the sold bears and added about 8 new bears. See Vo Vo, or Maddison, or Cherie or Brier to name a few...
